Jay Leno, the once and future host of The Tonight Show, will begin trying to win back fans that both he and the program lost during the Conan O’Brien debacle starting March 1. But anyone expecting some real home runs in terms of guests should probably lower their expectations.
Joining Leno on his first night back will be Jamie Foxx and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, with musical guest Brad Paisley. Expected to draw a bit more attention will be the March 2 show, scheduled to feature Sarah Palin and Olympics snowboarder Shaun White. The following night will find The Chin greeting the cast of Jersey Shore, as well as Chelsea Handler and — yup — Olympic skater Apolo Anton “Not Yoko” Ohno; the Thursday night lineup includes Matthew McConaughey and Jason Reitman and, somehow, nobody associated with the Olympics.
