Matthew McConaughey went onstage at Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards to present the Best Male Vocalist award.

But first, he got a little vocal himself about his and his baby mama’s sex life.

“After the show last year my lady and I – Camila – went back to the hotel and conceived the little lady who is now our daughter, ” the “Fools Gold” actor told the crowd. “I promise you me and Camila are going to try not to get so lucky this year. Two is enough. We’re flush for awhile.”

People reported Brad Paisley gave a little lip to presenter Matthew McConaughey when he accepted the top male vocalist award at Sunday night’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

“By the way, my wife (actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley) says “hi,” the “water” singer told McConaughey. “She loved playing your wife in We Are Marshall. But she says I’m a better kisser.”

McConaughey laughed it off, then Paisley reconsidered as he thought “they didn’t have any kissing scenes in that movie, So I have no idea how she knows that.”

McConaughey apparently didn’t mind the playful slam. What a good sport.

Rachael Ray caught up with Matthew McConaughey at the SXSW Festival and had a kind of bizarre interview with the new dad.

In the interview that aired on ‘Rachael Ray’ (weekdays, syndicated), McConaughey gave Camila Alves a shout-out, calling her the “champion,” discussed his children’s sleeping patterns and balked at changing diapers.

“I do do it, but not that much,” he said. Check out the clip for the rest of the strange interaction.

Actor Matthew McConaughey loves the car, a vintage Chevrolet, his girlfriend Camila Alves gifted him on 40th birthday, as it used to be his dream car as a teenager.

The Sahara star was surprised to see the 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 on his driveway, when he woke up on 4th November (09) morning.

“Camilla got it for me for my 40th. (It’s) very cool because my middle brother Pat, it’s what he drove in high school,’ the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

He added: “When I was 12 and he was 18, he’d come home on a Friday or Saturday night at 12.30am and he’d come inside and wake me up and I’d run out in my underwear and get in the passenger seat and listen to rock n’ roll in the driveway.”

McConaughey mentioned that he would drive his brother’s car, whenever their parents were away.

He continues, “My mum and dad would go out of town and he (Pat) would let me drive it, all around Texas. It had a concord system in there…

“At that time it was a larger than life hot rod time machine. So I’ve always talked about it, then I woke up on my 40th and there was this beauty sitting in the driveway.” Source

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY owes country singer JAMEY JOHNSON $500 (£312) after losing a football bet with his pal.

The Hollywood actor put money down on his beloved college team Texas Longhorns winning a game against Alabama in January (10), with both stars promising to donate their winnings to the loser’s chosen charity.

McConaughey lost the bet after his team was defeated, but he’s having trouble keeping his side of the bargain after Johnson asked him give the money to Gamblers Anonymous.

He tells Life & Style magazine, “We made a $500 bet on the Texas-Alabama national championship game, with the money going to the winner’s chosen charity. Jamey wanted to donate the $500 to Gamblers Anonymous, but they wouldn’t take it. So I’m writing this cheque to him so he can finally go out a winner and get out of the gambling game.” Source

If anyone could turn a lesbian straight, it would be Matthew McConaughey. The guy just exudes charm out of every pore, and his girl Camila Alves confirms that. She told a story on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC) about being really excited to go into a lesbian bar with McConaughey. At last! Girls would be hitting on her instead of him! Uh, no. Didn’t exactly go how she planned. “He was turning lesbian women to straight,” she says. “We had to have the bar security come stand in front of us in order for us to dance.” Well, you know what they say — just keep livin’.

Although she hosts Bravo’s hair-styling show Shear Genius, which begins its third season tonight, Camila Alves doesn’t advocate making drastic lock changes soon after giving birth.

She would know: Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend welcomed daughter Vida just one month ago, and she’s also mom to their 18-month-old son Levi.

You’re probably used to seeing Camila Alves in paparazzi or red carpet shots with her sweetie Matthew McConaughey – like this one at Friday’s MusiCares event in Los Angeles.

But on Wednesday, Alves takes on a completely new role. She’s the host for the third season of Bravo’s Shear Genius (10 p.m. ET/PT). The hairstyling competition show has a new format, new salon, new judges and Alves as the new host. “We just took the time to make the show like one big step up, you know?” she said in a recent press call.
